enXco Announces Commissioning of Turbines at the 153 MW Walnut Wind Farm

Energy Central:"enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company (PARIS: EEN), and MidAmerican Energy Company have announced the commissioning of the 102 turbines of the Walnut Wind Farm.

enXco Development Corporation began construction of the Walnut Wind Project, located in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, in June 2008. MidAmerican Energy Company and enXco agreed in the fall to expand the project from 100.5 MW to the current 153 MW. The project, owned by MEC, represents the 5th project built for the group for a total of 595 MW."
