China Starts Building 6 10,000MW Wind Power Bases

Energy Central: China has raised the curtain on the layout and construction of six 10,000MW wind power bases in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Gansu, Hebei, and Jiangsu, said Shi Pengfei, vice president for the Chinese Wind Energy Association (CWEA).
The northwestern Chinese city of Jiuquan, Gansu Province, has complete the construction planning of its 10,000MW wind power base, and total installed capacity is predicted to beat 12,000MW in 2015. In addition, the 20,000MW wind farm located in Hami, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, northwestern China, is under construction now."
