Wind Farm in Process

Energy Central:"State-owned Mighty River Power (MRP) plans to build 122 turbines in Turitea Reserve and on private land about 10km south-east of Palmerston North.
The proposal is a joint venture between MRP and Palmerston North City Council, which changed the purpose of the reserve to make the wind farm possible."
