Conergy Sells Two Solar Thin-film Projects

Renewable Energy World: "Conergy AG has sold two solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, Igling-Buchloe and Neuhaus, to a German Emissionshaus. The plants have been completed and are now feeding power into the public grid. Both plants were planned and developed by the Conergy subsidiary EPURON, with financing provided by a German regional bank.

The Conergy Group installed 44,937 First Solar Modules with a total surface area of 32,354m² and integrated 12 Conergy inverters to give Neuhaus in Baden-Württemberg 3.3 MW of total capacity.
With a total power output capacity of 5.8 megawatts (MW), Igling-Buchloe in Bavaria is one of the largest thin-film PV plants in the world. First Solar supplied78,210 thin-film modules for the project that are supplying electricity every day. The modules have a combined surface area of 56,311m². This is then fed into the electricity grid via 20 Conergy inverters."
